A still life by Italian artist Renzo Corcos that presents crumbled newspaper and 5 fresh fish. The artist uses the tonal values of colour on the fish to represent the atmosphere and the light that make the subject even more alive and vibrant. The fish are carved from impasto-thickened oils with colourful hues. This is a textured canvas that has had plenty of attention with both brush and palette knives. The subjects are casually perched on a chair, adding a lovely casualness to the piece. Available August
